About Me

Key Objectives and Skills:

I am a highly motivated and hardworking individual. I am working as a Senior Analyst in the Compliance Department of ICE. I have a strong knowledge of financial services, accounting and I.T. developed by working in banking, exchanges and trading environments.

I am always focusing in developing the business skills needed to enable me to integrate well, add value and help the professional team I am working with. As a student, I was the author of a monthly blog for “The Accountant” magazine, which covered the issues affecting students during their studies and their early professional careers.

I recently completed my MSc in Business Intelligence and Analytics (Computer Science). My interests cover issues related to operational risk management and the use of data analysis as a tool towards preserving/extracting business knowledge and developing new ideas.

Employment History:

Senior Analyst, Reporting Operations Jan ’18 – Present

  • Working with various stakeholders across the business on analyzing and implementing the various Regulatory Reporting requirements.
  • Frequent interaction with external clients to ensure maximum level of compliance.
  • Continuous monitoring and analysis of data reported by clients to avoid rejections from the
  • Trade Validation System.
  • Responsible for issuing JIRAs for various needs of the Reporting business.
  • Collaborate with BA teams to coordinate timely releases of system enhancements.

  • I am responsible for analysis, project management and implementation of regulations across Commodities within EMEA.
  • I interact with regulatory reform, legal, compliance and the business to ensure implementation of new rules across the asset class specific systems. 
  • I run daily reconciliations and report break statistics to senior management

  • I research current regulations and act as an information point for Middle Office.
  • I conduct testing in UAT environments for regulatory reform projects.

Johnson & Johnson Hellas Consumer - Finance Intern/ Invoice Administrator - Athens, Greece

  • Supporting senior accountants on their day-to-day activities by reconciling past invoices.
  • Maintaining an internal database to keep track of all received customer invoices. Scanning customer invoices received for all the markets and give proper continuity to the invoice workflow as requested by the various departments.

June ‘12 to August '12

Working together with the senior portfolio managers, I have been involved in:

  • Analyzing historical data for various futures markets e.g. Energy, Equities, Bond futures, Foreign Exchange in order to identify trading opportunities.
  • Analyzing historical data for various exchange traded funds (ETFs) and shares in NYSE.
  • Created Excel spreadsheets with VBA macros which enable the processing of data downloaded from various sources. Made the data handling more efficient and organized.

  • Analyzing historical data for energy related commodities markets in order to become familiar with the traders’ daily routine.
